Is it possible to include arrows to advance the portfolio images outside of the slideshow mode, or is the only option for viewing the larger images to click the thumbnails? Any ideas? Sandy

Hi Sandy,

I’m not exactly clear on what you are asking. There are arrows on either side, they advance the thumbnails. What is it that you would like them to do?

I’d like to have forward and back arrows on the enlarged images that appear after clicking on a thumbnail, when the portfolio leaves the slideshow mode. Since the thumbnails bounce back to the beginning, the user can easily lose their place and may want to just click through the larger images directly instead of scrolling back through the thumbnails and selecting a new image to view larger. If the thumbnails stayed in place after clicking on one, this may not be necessary as they can click on a thumbnail as easily as on an arrow to see an enlargement.

I was not able to keep the thumbnails in place in the scroller, but I did add arrows to the image page so that the visitor can click from one image to the next.

Thanks Bryan!
Seemed like the only change in the theme update was to the image.php file in Side Track, so I replaced just that file in Sandy’s child theme. Now the image forward and back links appear. Yea!
