That was not very clear for someone who is not a regular forum goer.

- My thumbnails are different sizes on the same page. Is that because they were uploaded in separate batches. http://particlefactory.com/wp/portfolio/debris-paintings

- Also the portfolio images are dropping down below the fold.

- My name does not line up with the thumbnails like it does in the baselayer sample.

Welcome! I appreciate the test, I’m planning to set this up so that I get notified whenever there is a new post. That way, it should be the fastest way to get support for any questions about the themes.

Before you upload you need to decide the size you want your thumbnails to be.

In your WordPress Admin go to Settings>Media and set the Width and Height for your thumbnails. I think it looks best to crop them square, so I have most of the examples set to 75 pixels X 75 pixels – Crop thumbnail to exact dimensions.

Sometimes you can make a change to thumbnails after the upload, but it’s best to just delete all your images and re-upload them with various settings until you are happy with the look for that particular theme.

The ‘below the fold’ is because the width of your gallery combined with your slideshow are too wide. I’ve sized all of these so they will look good on iPads, which is a nice standard screen size. So, the width is 1024px.
